About this site

I'm Bojan Fürst. I am a photographer and radio documentary maker based in St. John's, on the island of Newfoundland - the most eastern point in Canada and North America. I am also a PhD student at the University of Graz in Austria. My geographic research focuses on a hydrosocial cycle of Sava River in Central Croatia and it employs visual methodologies as a way of opening up conversations about the ways we make and remake river-human relationships.

I am not big on keeping things behind paywalls so the posts will be accessible whether you pay or not. I will have a few surprises throughout the year for paid subscribers.

Frequency

I will publish a newsletter once a month, but there might be additional posts here and there.
